“Politics, Economy, Security and Prospects for Stability in Somalia”.October 15th at 15.30 PM

Dear Madam/Sir,

you are cordially invited to the events that IGS – Institute for Global Studies will organize on October 15^th and 16^th in the framework of its Africa Security Program.

 

The first event, on October 15^th, will be held at the Officer’s Club of the Italian Armed Forces (Palazzo Savorgnan di Brazzà, Via XX Settembre 2, 00187 Rome) at 15:30 PM, and will focus on “Politics, Economy, Security and Prospects for Stability in Somalia”.

The October 15^th program, not open to the public, is by invitation only and open to Diplomats, Government’s officials and selected scholars. It will be regulated by Chatham House rules and structured on a panel of discussion and a Q&A session. A cocktail will follow at 17:30 for the invited guests in the gardens of Barberini Palace.

 

The second event, on October 16^th, will be held again at the Officer’s Club of the Italian Armed Forces at 09:00 AM, and will focus on “Politics and Security in the Horn of Africa”. The October 16^th program is open to Journalists, Diplomats, Government’s officials and scholars. A light breakfast will be offered at 10:30 for the invited guests in the gardens of Barberini Palace.

 

Both programs will be opened and concluded by members of the Government, which are scheduled to participate in both events. Working language is English.

 

We would be extremely glad of your participation, on the 15^th and the 16^th, and considering the limited number of available seats, we kindly ask you just to confirm the number and possibly the names of those interested in participating. More details will follow shortly.
